About The Position

The Associate Auction Coordinator represents Auction.com at live real estate auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps. The role involves conducting, co-hosting, and participating in auctions; interacting with bidders; completing tasks needed to run auctions successfully; and ensuring required processes are met. Coordinators also educate customers about participating in auctions and Auction.com programs and resources. The territory is Lynchburg, Virginia, with travel of up to two hours to courthouse auctions in surrounding areas as needed. A rental car is provided for travel outside the primary territory. The Area/State Manager assigns daily auctions according to scheduling needs, so the schedule must be flexible and adaptable. Auctions take place Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each auction day generally involves three to four hours of work; average weekly hours are six to ten, but hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Required in-person and Zoom training, team calls, and additional skill-building resources are also part of the opportunity, with additional compensation available for these activities.
