About The Position

The Associate Auction Coordinator represents Auction.com at live real estate auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps. This part-time role involves conducting, co-hosting, and participating in auctions; interacting with bidders; and completing the tasks needed for successful auctions. The coordinator also educates customers on how to participate and helps provide a positive auction experience. The territory is Richmond, Virginia, with travel of up to two hours to courthouse auctions in surrounding areas as needed. A rental car is provided for travel outside the primary territory. The Area/State Manager assigns daily auctions based on scheduling needs, so the schedule must be flexible and adaptable. Auctions take place Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each auction day typically requires three to four hours of work. Average hours are six to ten per week, but hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Required training may take place in person or via Zoom, alongside team calls and other development resources.
