About The Position

The Associate Auction Coordinator represents Auction.com at live real estate auctions, traditionally held on courthouse steps. The role involves conducting, co-hosting, and participating in auctions; interacting with bidders; and completing the tasks and processes needed for successful events. Coordinators welcome guests, help customers understand how to participate, and provide customer service in a fast-paced auction environment. The primary territory is Virginia Beach, Virginia, with travel of up to two hours to courthouse auctions in surrounding areas as scheduling and skills require. A rental car is provided for travel outside the primary territory. The Area/State manager assigns daily auctions according to scheduling needs, so the schedule must be flexible and adaptable. Auctions occur Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Each auction day typically requires three to four hours of work. Average weekly work is six to ten hours, though hours fluctuate and are not guaranteed. Required in-person and Zoom training sessions and team calls are also part of the role, with opportunities to earn additional compensation.
