About The Position

The Associate Account Manager implements the Great Lakes Ag Labor Services, LLC (GLALS) H-2A Temporary Worker program and assists Farm Bureau members with program participation. The role aims to help farms secure adequate labor while maintaining program compliance. The position supports outreach to prospective growers, assists with assessing client eligibility, and helps GLALS clients complete required H-2A program tasks. This includes drafting H-2A contracts, completing applications and other required paperwork, and meeting reporting deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, agri-communications, or general business; equivalent experience may be considered.
Knowledge of general labor laws and regulations.
Experienced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), project management software, and the Internet.
Knowledge of the agriculture industry.
Spanish-speaking comprehension and translation ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; testing of Excel or other computer software knowledge and proficiency may be required.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of experience filing applications under the federal H-2A program.
Experience in customer service.
Experience working for or serving in a volunteer capacity for a nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

Assist in identifying prospective growers willing and able to participate in the federal H-2A Temporary Worker program.
Participate in prospective clients’ Management Reviews when assigned.
Assist the GLALS Management team in evaluating client eligibility for program participation.
Assist GLALS clients with required tasks through the federal H-2A program.
Work with clients to draft H-2A contracts and complete H-2A program applications, required paperwork, and reporting requirements by applicable deadlines.
