About the position
The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts DMO/Growth partnerships in the Americas for Tripadvisor. They will play a crucial role in managing client service and operations for media campaigns, while also bridging communication and strategy between internal teams and clients. The Account Manager will focus on delivering exceptional client service and campaign performance, working closely with various stakeholders to drive revenue growth and achieve department goals. This role requires strong relationship management skills, digital media expertise, and the ability to navigate independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop Key Accounts DMO/Growth partnerships in Americas
- Play an integral role in managing day-to-day client service and ops for media campaigns
- Bridge communication and strategy between internal teams and clients
- Deliver best-in-class client service and campaign performance
- Manage all aspects of the campaign across pre and post-sale cycle to drive revenue growth and department goals
- Act as a strategic partner to key internal stakeholders and external clients and agencies
- Collaborate with AE to drive results for clients and deliver revenue growth
- Provide best-in-class client services and project management
- Liaise between client and internal teams to address client feedback on marketing proposals and media plans
- Manage all pre-launch communication between client and internal teams
- Lead all post-launch communication
- Navigate independently from management and drive key decisions for the deal
- Act as a product expert and SME across at least one topic
- Provide feedback on development and evolution of topics
- Understand digital concepts and stay up to date on emerging ad formats
- Develop relationships and manage key accounts to drive revenue growth
- Work with cross-functional teams across all levels
- Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel with analytical ability preferred
- Knowledge of Sales Tech and Digital Platforms
- 25% travel may be required
- Attention to detail with high level of organizational and communication skills
- Experience managing complex tasks in a digital environment with a strategic lens
- Flexible and open to change and new information
- Proficient in client communication
Requirements
- 4+ years minimum professional experience in digital media at an agency/client/publisher in an Account Manager or Sales role
- Understands digital concepts and is up to date on emerging ad formats
- Consistent and proven track record in successfully developing relationships and managing key accounts to drive revenue growth for partner accounts in a B2B environment
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams across all levels including senior management
- Proficient in Powerpoint and Excel with an analytical ability is preferred
- Systems knowledge with Sales Tech and Digital Platforms (Salesforce, OMS, DFP, Moat, DoubleVerify, IAS etc.)
- 25% travel may be required
- Proficient attention to detail with a high level of organizational skills & communication skills
- Experience managing complex tasks in a digital environment with a strategic lens
- Flexible and open to change and new information, changing processes, client direction; adapts behavior and work methods accordingly
- Proficient in client communication - able to effectively communicate with clients
