About the position
Tripadvisor is seeking an ambitious and strategic individual to join their commercial team as an Agency Development Partner. This role will focus on accelerating media revenue across agency stakeholders and driving growth strategies to tap into under penetrated buyers and budgets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with enterprise partnership leads, agency trading desks, and influential stakeholders, as well as positioning Tripadvisor as a thought leader in the industry. They will report directly to the Global Head of Agency Development and play a key role in revolutionizing travel through their unique identities, abilities, and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deploy the International agency development strategy and engagement
- Lead education and enablement to generate leads for the direct sales team
- Develop and foster relationships with enterprise partnership leads, agency trading desks, influential stakeholders, and day-to-day decision makers
- Leverage established relationships to create agency maps and connect with key agency contacts for the direct sales team
- Set up and facilitate high-level agency meetings to drive awareness of the Tripadvisor platform
- Follow up with tailored lunch and learn sessions to drive more in-depth discussions
- Own the Go-To-Market (GTM) narrative and align with agency goals
- Position Tripadvisor as a thought leader and maintain brand awareness through consistent communications
- Have 8+ years of media experience with a background in strategy, consulting, publishing, or agency
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to present and tell stories
- Have a passion and knowledge of the travel landscape and the digital advertising industry
- Have a substantial existing network across agency holding companies
- Exhibit integrity through fair and ethical practices.
