About the position

The Associate Account Director/Account Director for Influencer Marketing at Acceleration Partners is a senior-level digital marketing role responsible for managing cross-regional teams and serving as a high-level client liaison. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and managing successful influencer marketing campaigns, as well as a strong understanding of the partner marketing landscape. Key responsibilities include driving client happiness and retention, coaching and developing team members, and identifying areas for process improvement. The successful candidate will align with the company's core values of ownership, relationship-building, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level strategic guidance and partnership to teams to ensure program goals are met and program risk areas are mitigated proactively
  • Innovate new strategy, tactics, and efficiencies to meet client objectives and ensure client success
  • Identify opportunities for scope of work expansions and develop expansion proposals
  • Oversee account teams, manage and lead team members, and supervise high-level account activities
  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members, identify training needs, and provide feedback
  • Build strong relationships with client contacts and establish relationships at multiple levels within the client's organization
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, manage client escalations, and escalate issues as appropriate
  • Assist with managing monthly utilization rate, staffing plans, and resources for sales pipeline
  • Ensure accounts are profitable, within scope, and find new opportunities to increase portfolio revenue
  • Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and scale the business
  • Disseminate information in a timely manner and lead process improvements
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business and escalate key risks as needed

Requirements

  • Experience in developing and managing successful, KPI-driven influencer marketing campaigns for consumer products and/or services companies
  • Working knowledge of the overall partner marketing landscape, including affiliate
  • Ability to direct comprehensive strategy and lead, manage, and hold teams accountable
  • Strong client service skills, including communication, satisfaction, and retention
  • Ability to see the big picture and provide high-level strategic guidance
  • Experience in portfolio growth, including strategy, execution, performance, and expansion
  • Ability to lead, manage, and hold teams accountable
