About The Position
Martha Franks Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to provide care and support to residents in its assisted living community. The role involves helping residents with daily living activities, monitoring their well-being, offering emotional support and companionship, and helping maintain a clean and safe environment. The Nursing Assistant works with the healthcare team to promote residents’ independence and dignity and to support individualized care plans. This is a full-time third-shift position in Laurens, South Carolina.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assist with mealtime and feed residents as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Provide personalized care and support that promotes residents’ independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and activities.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment through open communication and collaboration.
