Wireless Retail Assistant Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Wireless Store Manager (Sales Leader) is a true assistant manager and a next step for salespeople ready to take on leadership responsibilities. The role works closely with the Store Leader, manages details on the sales floor, and steps in when the Store Leader is absent. It combines selling with team support and developing the skills needed to run a store. Sales Leaders earn commission like the rest of the team, and strong knowledge of AT&T devices, plans, and promotions supports individual sales and helps the team succeed. The position is full-time and includes base pay, commission, leadership incentives, and paid training. Wireless experience is a plus but is not required. The role is floor-first, with most of the shift spent on one's feet using tablets, POS systems, and wireless retail tools; occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds is required. The listed pay range is $18.75–$25 USD.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High energy and adaptability in a competitive environment.
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience leading or managing others (preferred).

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Leader on daily operations, staffing, and performance.
- Sell alongside the team and lead by example on every shift.
- Coach, train, and develop team members through real-time feedback and consistent mentoring.
- Help the team meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Assist with product launches and merchandising, and ensure the store reflects brand standards.
- Stay informed about AT&T promotions, devices, and wireless trends, and teach that knowledge to the team.
- Handle administrative duties, inventory, compliance, and store-level problem-solving.
- Represent Blue Link Wireless at community and offsite events to grow the customer base.
- Resolve customer escalations professionally and with care.
