About The Position

The Assistant Wellness Salon Manager works alongside the Store Manager to help run a salon, lead and coach Wellness Consultants and the Salon Support team, and contribute to the salon’s sales and operational results. The role includes helping recruit, schedule, and develop employees; delivering strong customer service and resolving customer concerns; maintaining salon cleanliness, stock, and health department standards; and supporting promotions and growth. The assistant manager also handles cash, deposits, and customer card data securely, with PCI security training provided. Assistant Store Managers earn an average of $13–$17+ per hour, consisting of base pay, up to 12% commission, and a monthly bonus. Top performers may earn more. Salons are open seven days a week, and schedules offer flexibility, though the role includes some nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional local travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at other salon locations. This is a security-sensitive position.

Requirements

1–3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to motivate others.
Basic computer and POS skills.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand for 7+ hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
