Assistant Wellness Salon Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Wellness Salon Manager works alongside the Store Manager to help run a salon, lead and coach Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team members, and drive store performance. The role includes supporting recruiting, scheduling, and staff development; delivering excellent customer service and resolving concerns; maintaining salon cleanliness, stock, smooth operations, and health department standards; growing sales while controlling labor and costs; and partnering on promotions and salon growth. Responsibilities also include securely handling cash, deposits, and customer card data, with PCI security training provided. Assistant Store Managers earn an average of $13–$17+ per hour, including base pay, up to 12% commission, and monthly bonuses; top performers may earn more. Salons operate seven days a week. Scheduling offers flexibility, but the role includes some nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional local travel may be needed for meetings, training, or supporting other salon locations. This is a security-sensitive position.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in retail, customer service, operations, or management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for 7 or more hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
