Assistant Wellness Salon Manager
About The Position
SVI Corporate, LLC, a Palm Beach Tan & Wellness Franchisee, is hiring an Assistant Wellness Salon Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in operating a salon. The role leads and coaches team members, supports recruiting and scheduling, provides excellent customer service, maintains salon cleanliness and health standards, and helps grow sales while controlling labor and costs. The position also handles salon cash, deposits, and customer card data securely. The salons are open seven days a week; schedules offer flexibility but include some nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional local travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at other salon locations. This is a security-sensitive position.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for 7 or more hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Store Manager to run the salon.
- Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and the Salon Support team.
- Help recruit, schedule, and develop team members.
- Provide customer service and professionally resolve customer concerns.
- Keep the salon clean, stocked, and running smoothly, and ensure it meets health department standards.
- Drive sales results and control labor and costs.
- Partner with the Store Manager on promotions and growth.
- Handle cash, deposits, and customer card data securely.
