About The Position

The Assistant Wellness Salon Manager works alongside the Store Manager to help lead a salon team, deliver excellent customer service, and achieve sales and operational goals. The role includes coaching Wellness Consultants and Salon Support team members, helping recruit and develop staff, maintaining salon cleanliness and health department standards, and supporting promotions and business growth. The assistant manager also handles cash, deposits, and customer card data securely, with PCI security training provided. Assistant Store Managers earn an average of $13–$17+ per hour, including base pay, up to 12% commission, and monthly bonuses; top performers may earn more. The position offers flexible scheduling, though the salons operate seven days a week and the schedule may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional local travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at other salon locations.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in retail, customer service, operations, or management.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to motivate others.
Basic computer and POS skills.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand for 7 or more hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the Store Manager to run the salon.
Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and the Salon Support team.

Grow sales and control labor and other costs to drive store results.
