About The Position

The Assistant Wellness Salon Manager works alongside the Store Manager to operate the salon, lead a high-energy team, and help achieve sales and growth goals. The role combines team leadership, customer service, salon operations, and business performance. It offers hourly pay averaging $17–$20+ (base pay, up to 12% commission, and monthly bonus), with additional earning potential for top performers. The position is with SVI Corporate, LLC, a Palm Beach Tan & Wellness Franchisee, and is security-sensitive. Salons are open seven days a week. Schedules are designed with flexibility, but the role includes some nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional local travel may be required for meetings, training, or support at other salon locations. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified applicants with disabilities.

Requirements

1–3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to motivate others.
Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to be on your feet for 7 or more hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work alongside the Store Manager to run the salon.
Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and the Salon Support team.
Help recruit, schedule, and develop employees.
Provide customer service that encourages repeat business and professionally resolve customer concerns.
Keep the salon clean, stocked, and operating smoothly, while ensuring it meets health department standards.
Drive sales and control labor and other costs.
Partner with the Store Manager on promotions and growth.
Handle salon cash, deposits, and customer card data securely; PCI security training is included.
