Assistant Wellness Salon Manager
About The Position
SVI Corporate, LLC, a Palm Beach Tan & Wellness Franchisee, is hiring an Assistant Wellness Salon Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in running a salon. The role involves coaching a high-energy team, helping grow sales and salon performance, and contributing to a welcoming, team-oriented environment. Compensation averages $13–$17+ per hour, including base pay, up to 12% commission, and a monthly bonus; top performers may earn more. This is a security-sensitive position. The assistant manager helps recruit, schedule, and develop employees; delivers customer service and resolves concerns; maintains salon cleanliness, supplies, and health-department standards; and helps manage sales, labor, costs, promotions, and growth. The role also involves securely handling cash, deposits, and customer card data, with PCI security training provided. Salons operate seven days a week. Schedules are designed with flexibility, but the position requires some nights, weekends, and holidays. Occasional local travel may be needed for meetings, training, or support at other salon locations.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of retail, customer service, operations, or management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to motivate others.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for 7 or more hours a day and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Work alongside the Store Manager to run the salon.
- Lead and coach Wellness Consultants and the Salon Support team.
- Help recruit, schedule, and develop employees.
- Provide customer service and professionally resolve customer concerns.
- Keep the salon clean and stocked, ensure smooth operations, and meet health department standards.
- Grow sales and control labor and costs to drive store results.
- Partner with the Store Manager on promotions and growth.
- Securely handle salon cash, deposits, and customer card data.
