About The Position
Early Years Child Development Centers is hiring an Assistant Teacher at its Valencia location. The posting offers a $500 sign-on bonus and starting pay of $16.50. The position requires a high school diploma, relevant experience or education, a physical examination with a recent TB test, and valid clearances or the ability to obtain them before starting. Applicants who have lived or worked out of state during the past five years must provide out-of-state clearances. Requirements
- High school diploma; a copy is required.
- At least 18 years old.
- Either 2,500 verifiable hours working with children (such as babysitting, nannying, or childcare), or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, early education, or special education and 1,500 hours of experience.
- Physical examination with a recent TB test.
- Valid clearances, or the ability to obtain them before starting.
- Out-of-state clearances are required if the applicant lived or worked out of state during the past five years.
