About The Position

The Assistant Studio Manager supports daily and weekend operations at Austin Fitness Group (AFG) studios to provide an exceptional member experience. The role is a key point of contact for prospective and current members, representing the brand, explaining the studio’s programs and membership options, and supporting membership sales and retention through relationship-building. The Assistant Studio Manager partners with the studio team to support sales goals, maintain a welcoming, high-energy environment, and deliver a seamless member experience. The position reports directly to the Studio Manager and does not manage a team. The role is primarily based in a fitness studio, with work at the front desk and throughout the studio floor. It includes frequent interaction with members, guests, and team members, along with administrative work using a computer, phones, and other standard office equipment. The setting may have moderate to loud noise from music and group fitness classes. Occasional participation in offsite events or community activities may be required. No travel is anticipated unless needed for training or other company needs. This is a full-time position that includes weekends and holidays. The position requires frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the studio; regular communication, including talking and hearing in a potentially loud environment; and may occasionally involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items weighing approximately 25–30 pounds, bending, reaching, and light cleaning. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
