About The Position

The Assistant Studio Manager at Orangetheory Fitness in South Lyon works alongside the Studio Manager to support the studio’s daily operations, lead and motivate the team, and provide exceptional experiences for members. The role helps create a positive, welcoming environment and represents the Orangetheory brand. The position is full-time and includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a sales, retail, or fitness environment.
Experience in a customer-facing role.
Experience with social media and creative programs such as Canva.

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily studio operations.
Support the Studio Manager with marketing campaigns, outreach events, and social media initiatives.
Help lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed membership goals and KPIs.
Help manage staff schedules to ensure coverage during peak hours and events.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming environment for members and guests.
Lead studio operations and support the team when the Studio Manager is absent.
Model a positive, professional attitude and high standards for staff behavior and performance.
Maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Assist with administrative tasks, including reporting and member communications.
