About The Position

The Assistant Studio Manager provides a welcoming space and a remarkable experience for every member and first-time guest at an Orangetheory Fitness studio. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing prospect follow-up and membership sales, and helping the studio meet performance goals. It is suited to a self-driven, goal-oriented person with strong emotional intelligence who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, and vibrant environment. The position also supports daily studio operations by answering member questions, maintaining brand standards and an organized front desk, welcoming members by name, tracking attendance, celebrating member milestones, staying informed about studio and corporate activities, and helping keep the studio clean and organized.

Requirements

CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
Comfort working with new technology, smartphones, and computers.
Growth mindset and passion for helping others.
Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and manage member questions or concerns.

Nice To Haves

Two years of customer service experience preferred.
One to three years of sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the lead funnel by following up with prospects, booking their first class, and providing an exceptional first-time guest experience.
Provide membership details based on Group Fitness Coaches’ prescriptions.
Meet and exceed key performance indicators by generating leads, booking appointments, and selling memberships, packs, and additional revenue drivers.
Answer member questions promptly and handle concerns appropriately.
Maintain brand compliance by following Orangetheory Fitness systems and procedures.
Keep the front desk organized and prioritize tasks throughout the shift.
Welcome members by name and take accurate class attendance.
Create memorable member experiences by celebrating birthdays, membership anniversaries, class milestones, and personal records.
Stay informed about promotions, fitness challenges, out-of-studio events, and corporate initiatives and offerings.
Work independently and take ownership of individual contributions to the studio and team.
Assist with keeping the studio clean and organized.
