About The Position

JCPenney Portraits is hiring a part-time Assistant Studio Manager to support two locations in San Antonio, Texas. The role assists with studio operations and management, captures creative portrait images, and helps deliver an enjoyable customer experience. Comprehensive photography and sales training is provided. The hourly pay rate is $17.00, with potential for monthly bonuses.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including holidays and weekends, as needed.
• Intermediate computer skills, such as navigation, data entry, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in retail, photography, or the service industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Studio Manager with the operation and management of a portrait studio.
• Capture fun, spontaneous, and creative images that exceed customers’ expectations.
• Talk with potential customers and call existing customers to schedule and confirm sessions.
• Provide a delightful customer experience.
• Follow established safety procedures and demonstrate concern for customer safety.
