About The Position
Kay Jewelers Outlet is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager and positively impact customers and team members. The role helps maintain daily focus on individual and team performance standards to achieve sales and profit projections, contributes to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and supports recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company emphasizes integrity, diversity, teamwork, and advancement through promotion from within. Training is provided in sales techniques, product knowledge, and other skills to support career development. The position offers base pay plus sales commission and a selection of benefits and development opportunities.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience is required.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Retail experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
