About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking a dynamic, driven, and creative Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role contributes to sales and profit projections by maintaining focus on individual and team standards, creating an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, and developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation. The Assistant Store Manager also assists with recruiting and selecting team members, enforces Company policies and procedures, and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and management skills, with opportunities for career development and advancement.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
