About The Position
Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help the Store Manager maintain daily focus on individual and team performance standards to achieve sales and profit projections. The role contributes to an environment of total customer satisfaction, develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and supports recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces Company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The position offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills, with opportunities for career development and advancement. Kay values integrity, diversity, and teamwork, and promotes advancement from within.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
