About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help lead a retail team and contribute to a positive customer experience. The role assists the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team standards to achieve sales and profit projections, creating an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruiting and selecting team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties.

The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and professional skills, and promotes advancement from within. Compensation is listed as $16.50–$21.00 base pay plus sales commission; the final rate depends on experience and qualifications. Some listed benefits apply to full-time team members.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
