About The Position
Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily sales and operational performance. The role supports individual and team achievement of standards to meet sales and profit projections, helps create an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces Company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and job skills, with opportunities for career development and advancement. The position is suited to someone committed to excellence, eager to grow, and able to provide a superior customer experience.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
