About The Position

The Briad Group is launching 40 modern, multi-brand travel centers across New York State powered by Circle K and top quick-service restaurants. The Assistant Store Manager supports daily operations, trains team members, and assumes full leadership when the Store Manager is away. The role is fast-paced and offers structured internal development toward managing a business unit or location. The position is based at a Circle K and travel center in Binghamton, New York, currently under construction. The stated salary range is $19.00–$21.00 per hour; the final offer depends on role, level, experience, and geographic work location.

Requirements

Retail experience is preferred.
Proven ability to supervise and train team members.
Clear communication in English.
Strong leadership presence.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to routinely lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
Ability to work in coolers, freezers, and outdoors.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and coach CSRs and Lead CSRs; delegate tasks and step in as Store Manager when needed.
Ensure fast, friendly guest service and drive sales through suggestive selling.
Assist with inventory, stocking, vendor deliveries, cash handling, scheduling, and daily paperwork.
Maintain cleanliness standards across the sales floor, restrooms, food service areas, and exterior.
Monitor store and fuel equipment.
Enforce company policies, loss-prevention practices, and food-safety procedures (HACCP).
