About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager provides high-end customer service and store support, overseeing store operations and the day-to-day work of rental and retail associates. The role helps maintain business standards, has increased decision-making authority, represents the brand, and helps drive the culture within retail and rental stores. The position also fulfills other organizational work responsibilities as needed. This is a year-round, 11-month position with full-time hours available.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience.
• 2 years of retail and/or rental experience.
• Knowledge of and passion for talent development.
• Self-motivation and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
• Desire to provide guests with the highest standards of customer service.
• At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with rental and retail point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 2–10 multi-unit employees.
• Provide consistent, direct feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members.
• Design, execute, and track training plans.
• Ensure the department and staff have the necessary supplies.
• Create a rewarding work environment and a strong team atmosphere.
• Protect company assets through loss-prevention techniques and manage rental and retail inventory.
• Communicate ideas and issues to Store and Regional Managers.
• Manage operational budgets and payroll.
• Stay current on industry products and trends and demonstrate product knowledge.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
