About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at Ellenton Premium Outlets, you will support the Store Manager in building a results-oriented team that delivers an excellent customer experience. You will share responsibility for store operations and maintaining a visually appealing store, while creating a positive environment that develops and engages managers, associates, and customers. The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager.

The role calls for an inspirational, engaging, and self-motivated leader who can help the team achieve results, attract talent, adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and pursue personal growth. You will partner with the Store Manager to grow the business, develop team members, oversee an assigned division, maintain store standards, and handle management functions when the Store Manager is absent. The position may require occasional travel to other store locations.

The stated pay range is USD $17.50 to $24.13 per hour. Requirements

• Flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar-volume apparel business.
• A proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans that achieve results and grow the business.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, selling skills, and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage customers and build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop team members committed to creating a great customer experience.
• Oversee an assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for its results.
• Support the Store Manager in consistently meeting merchandising and operational standards.
• Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive it forward.
• Remain composed when facing challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions when the Store Manager is absent.
