About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in building and developing a team that delivers results through an excellent customer experience. The role shares responsibility for store operations and maintaining a visually appealing store, while creating a positive environment that engages managers, associates, and customers. The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• May require occasional travel to other store locations, if needed.
• Ability to perform the listed physical tasks, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar-volume apparel business (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans that achieve results and grow the business.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, selling skills, and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers and use company tools to build relationships and brand loyalty.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop team members committed to creating a great customer experience.
• Oversee an assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for its results.
• Support the Store Manager in consistently meeting merchandising and operational standards.
• Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
• Remain composed when facing challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions when the Store Manager is absent.
• Model the company’s values of respect, integrity, teamwork, compassion, accountability, and inclusivity.
• Bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
