Assistant Store Manager - Woodbury Common Premium Outlets
About The Position
As an Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager in building a team that delivers results through an excellent customer experience. You share responsibility for store operations and maintaining a visually appealing store, while creating a positive environment that develops and engages managers, associates, and customers. The role reports to the Store Manager. You partner with the Store Manager to grow the business, develop team members, and ensure merchandising and operational standards are consistently met. You oversee an assigned division of responsibility, engage customers to build relationships and brand loyalty, and learn and share ideas across all aspects of the business. You may perform point-of-sale transactions on designated shifts and management functions when the Store Manager is absent.
Requirements
- Flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to bend, lift, open, and move product and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs., as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar-volume apparel business.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
- Ability to travel occasionally to other store locations, if needed.

- Demonstrate product knowledge, selling skills, and operational skills to maximize sales.

- Partner with the Store Manager to develop team members committed to creating a great customer experience.
- Oversee an assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
- Support the Store Manager in consistently meeting merchandising and operational standards.
- Learn about all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
- Remain composed when facing challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
- Perform point-of-sale transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions when the Store Manager is absent.
