About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring retail management team members for its Superstition Springs store in Mesa, Arizona. Management team members oversee store operations, lead and develop employees, deliver strong customer experiences, and help achieve sales and profitability goals. The role includes responsibility for merchandise and inventory, store presentation and maintenance, budgets and expenses, local marketing and community relationships, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Managers are expected to identify opportunities to improve store performance and may take on additional duties or projects as needed. The posting describes two positions: Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor. Assistant Store Managers must have open availability to help open and close the store, a minimum standard workweek of five days, and an average standard workweek of 44 hours, with additional hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during hours needed to open and close the store and have at least five days of availability, with a minimum standard workweek of 30 hours. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A customer-focused approach and commitment to outstanding service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability, including mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store; minimum standard workweek of five days; average standard workweek of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store; minimum five days of availability; minimum standard workweek of 30 hours.
All management: availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance in accordance with company policies.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must speak, read, and write English clearly enough to communicate with customers, supervise staff, perform business-related mathematics, and understand corporate sales reports.
May need to move to different company locations based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
