About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring retail management team members to manage daily store operations, lead and develop a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role contributes to store sales, profitability, operational performance, and company growth through effective leadership, customer service, merchandise management, and financial oversight. The position requires availability during the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights, as well as weekends and holidays. Assistant Store Managers have a minimum standard work week of five days and an average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available at least five days per week and work a minimum standard of 30 hours weekly. Reliable transportation, punctuality, regular attendance, and clear English communication and literacy are required. Employees may be asked to work at different locations within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and involves prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pulling, and possibly climbing ladders or stairs. Regular lifting of 5–25 pounds is required, and heavier lifting may sometimes be needed. Good vision, including color differentiation, is required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.

Nice To Haves

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions.
Perform additional duties and projects as required.
