About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Westmoreland Mall store in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Management team members oversee daily store operations, develop and motivate staff, and deliver excellent customer experiences. They help drive sales and profitability, manage merchandise and inventory, maintain store standards, control expenses, and support local marketing and community engagement. The role also involves analyzing performance, identifying operational improvements, and completing additional duties as required. Assistant Store Managers must have open availability to support opening and closing the store, work at least five days per week, and average 44 hours per week, with increased hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available for opening and closing hours and at least five days per week, with a minimum 30-hour workweek. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and includes prolonged standing and physical handling of merchandise.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency with retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; at least five workdays per week; average standard workweek of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak periods.
Supervisor: availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; availability at least five days per week; minimum standard workweek of 30 hours.
Availability on weekends and holidays for all management positions.
Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to move to different locations within the company’s network based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves
