About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Pocono Premium Outlet store in Tannersville, Pennsylvania. Management members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop employees, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role contributes to store sales, profitability, operational performance, and the company’s growth. The posting describes two roles: Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor. Assistant Store Managers must have open availability, including mornings, days, and nights needed to open and close the store, and work a minimum standard week of five days, averaging 44 hours. Hours may increase during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during opening and closing hours and have at least five days of availability, with a minimum standard workweek of 30 hours. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays, maintain punctuality and regular attendance, and have reliable transportation. The role may require moving to other company locations based on operational needs and career growth. The work is performed in a moderately noisy retail setting and involves extended standing and other physical tasks.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum standard workweek of five days.
Supervisor: availability for store opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights; minimum five days of availability and a standard workweek of at least 30 hours.
All management: availability on weekends and holidays; punctuality and regular attendance; reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing; stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pulling; climbing ladders or stairs; regularly lifting 5–25 pounds and potentially heavier items in certain circumstances; and having good vision, including color differentiation.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Two or more years of retail leadership experience, strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
