About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring store management team members for its Houston Premium Outlet location in Cypress, Texas. Management members oversee daily store operations, develop and motivate employees, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The position offers autonomy to contribute to store success and company growth. The posting describes responsibilities and minimum requirements for Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors, including differing weekly availability and hour expectations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as applicable to the role.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability for store opening and closing hours; at least five days in the standard work week; an average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability for store opening and closing hours and at least five days of availability; minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to communicate with customers and supervise staff, and to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics.
May need to relocate to different locations within the company's network based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
