About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors for its Macy's store at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio. Members of management oversee daily store operations, lead and develop employees, and deliver strong customer experiences. They help shape store performance and contribute to company growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

The roles involve recruiting, training, and developing team members; driving sales and profitability; managing merchandise, inventory, visual presentation, budgets, and expenses; and ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety requirements. Managers also support local marketing and community engagement, monitor industry and competitor activity, and identify operational improvements.

Assistant Store Managers are expected to work a standard minimum of five days per week, averaging 44 hours, with additional hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available at least five days per week and work a minimum standard of 30 hours. All management roles require weekend and holiday availability and availability across opening and closing hours, including mornings, days, and nights.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
• Availability for the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights.
• Assistant Store Manager: availability for a minimum standard work week of five days.
• Supervisor: availability for at least five days and a minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly, and perform business-related mathematics.
• May need to move to different locations within the company network based on operational needs and career growth.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities
