About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring Assistant Store Managers and Supervisors to manage daily retail store operations, lead and develop teams, and provide exceptional customer experiences. Management team members help drive sales, profitability, operational standards, and the store’s contribution to company growth. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Assistant Store Managers must have open availability during store opening and closing hours, a minimum standard work week of five days, and an average standard work week of 44 hours. Hours may increase during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available during opening and closing hours and have availability for at least five days, with a minimum standard work week of 30 hours. All management roles require reliable transportation, punctuality and regular attendance, and the ability to communicate, read, and write in English and perform business-related mathematics. Movement to other company locations may be required based on operational needs and career growth.

The listed hourly pay range is $16.38–$20.50 for Assistant Store Managers, with additional bonus opportunities if store KPIs are met. The Supervisor rate is $17.28 per hour. All roles are eligible for the company 401(k) plan. Full-time roles are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, sick leave, parental leave, and company-paid time off.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, including a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
• Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs, and regularly lifting items weighing 5–25 pounds; heavier lifting may be required in certain circumstances.
• Good vision, including color differentiation.
