About The Position

The Assistant Spa Manager supports spa operations at Los Angeles International Airport, helping provide clients with a comfortable, relaxing spa experience. The role includes monitoring sales and productivity, developing upselling strategies, promoting brand visibility, assisting with spa cleanliness and maintenance walk-throughs, and handling administrative operations. The position also requires following practice policies and protocols and ensuring compliance with applicable labor and state licensing laws and regulations.

Requirements

Current state Massage Therapy, Cosmetology, or Nail Technician license.
At least 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
At least 1–2 years of spa experience.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for people.

Responsibilities

Drive, monitor, and analyze sales performance and productivity using weekly and monthly dashboards and KPIs.
Implement and monitor upselling strategies to maximize spa and individual team members’ daily activity and help them reach their goals.
Promote and develop brand visibility through merchandising, marketing, and stock handling.
Assist with spa walk-throughs and note areas needing cleaning or maintenance attention.
Handle administrative tasks, including payroll, scheduling, inventory, bank deposits, and reporting.
Follow all practice policies and protocols.
Provide clients with a comfortable, relaxing spa experience.
Ensure compliance with labor and state licensing laws and regulations related to business operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
