Assistant Spa Manager
About The Position
We are seeking a warm, organized, and motivated Assistant Spa Manager to support the daily operations of our spa. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team, creating a positive guest experience, and helping maintain a supportive, professional environment. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a spa, med spa, salon, wellness, fitness, or membership-based environment and is comfortable supporting both operational and guest experience goals. We are looking for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, solutions-focused, and excited to grow within the wellness industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management or supervisory roles within the spa or wellness industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques.
- Experience in training & development, employee orientation, and performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices and bookkeeping principles.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS systems.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities with a focus on team management and motivation.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in merchandising and marketing strategies.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
- Oversee scheduling, payroll, and employee orientation for new hires.
- Handle recruiting and interviewing processes to build a strong team.
- Maintain inventory control and manage purchasing to ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to promote spa services and increase sales.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve profitability goals.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any client concerns or feedback promptly.
