About The Position

Massage Heights is seeking an Assistant Retreat Director to help guide the team and support exceptional guest service and team member culture and satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Retreat Director, this role assists with supervising all aspects of Retreat operations, including revenue and profitability, inventory management, and daily execution of brand systems and processes. The ideal candidate excels in sales and is responsible, ambitious, and diligent. The position supports Massage Heights’ purpose of elevating the lives of people it touches and promoting a balanced lifestyle for members and guests.

Requirements

At least 1 year of sales or retail management experience.
Leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a self-starter mentality.
Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution with employees.
Working knowledge of computers and standard software.
Basic business math skills.
Availability to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with Zenoti or similar spa POS software systems.
Understanding of the spa environment and massage and skincare services.
Experience working in a franchise model.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment, hiring, training, developing, and retaining employees.
Facilitate front desk associate training as assigned, including coaching and role-playing to support membership sales.
Manage team member schedules to ensure proper execution of daily operations.
Collaborate with the Spa Director to set individual team member and overall Retreat goals.
Create an environment passionate about providing excellent guest service.
Build guest loyalty by consistently following the Massage Heights operating system.
