Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service
- A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
- Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
- Organization, flexibility, and the desire to help keep the salon running smoothly
- An interest in growing your leadership skills and taking on more responsibility
Nice To Haves
- Management experience (though an interest in leadership and supporting others is just as important as prior experience)
- Stylist position experience
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a talented team of stylists
- Support and motivate a team of stylists while continuing to cut hair
- Support daily salon operations
- Help the team succeed
- Keep the salon running smoothly
