Assistant Salon Manager

This role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations and helping the team succeed. The Assistant Salon Manager role is often a stepping stone toward Salon Manager or other leadership positions.
Requirements
- A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
- Strong technical haircutting skills and great customer service
- A team-first mindset with a desire to encourage and support others
- Clear communication skills and a positive, motivating attitude
- Organization, flexibility, and the desire to help keep the salon running smoothly
- An interest in growing your leadership skills and taking on more responsibility
- Weekend availability required (Sundays priority)
Nice To Haves
- Management experience (an interest in leadership and supporting others is just as important as prior experience)
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality haircuts in 14–17 minutes
- Comfortable recommending products
- Support and motivate a team of stylists while continuing to cut hair
- Support daily salon operations
- Help the team succeed
