About The Position

SmartStyle Hair Salon, operated by Yellowhammer Salon Group (YSG), is the largest operator of this brand in the United States with over 75 full-service salons inside Wal-Mart stores across 11 states. YSG offers its stylists instant clientele in a high-traffic environment, the potential to earn up to 60% commission, ongoing technical training, and support from engaged leadership. This role is seeking a dynamic Assistant Salon Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service delivery. The Assistant Salon Leader will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the salon, while assisting the Salon Leader in achieving salon goals.

Requirements

• Valid and current cosmetology license.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients and staff alike.
• A passion for the beauty industry and staying updated on trends and techniques.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and consistently perform quality services.
• A team player with strong leadership qualities.
• Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace while demonstrating good judgment and time management skills.
• Communicate effectively with salon team, peers, supervisors, Wal-Mart staff, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• The position may require working alone in the salon.
