About The Position

Work World is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Reno, Nevada. The role works alternating shifts with the Store Manager and requires availability for nights and weekends. The position includes supervising and training staff, maintaining store operations and merchandise, handling customer transactions and assistance, and carrying out store opening and closing procedures. Compensation is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Previous assistant management or leadership experience is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Help supervise store staff and support employee training activities.
• Work alternating shifts with the Store Manager to support daily operations.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by store leadership.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Prepare and manage daily bank deposits, including bank drop-offs.
• Obtain change for store operations when needed.
• Receive, organize, and process incoming merchandise shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
• Process customer purchases accurately in accordance with company procedures.
• Welcome customers, answer incoming calls, and provide assistance as needed.
• Support customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
