About The Position
The Assistant Retail Manager assists management with merchandise setup and restocking, point-of-sale transactions and questions, and providing knowledgeable, friendly service to guests. This fast-paced, high-energy role supports merchandise booth operations at Ballpark at America First Square during events. The position is part-time and pays $21.00 to $31.50.
Requirements
- Maintain a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counts.
- Be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume event environments.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
- Follow all safety and operational guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to support smooth booth operations and transitions throughout gameday procedures.
- Operate point-of-sale systems to process card transactions quickly and accurately.
- Set up and break down merchandise booths before and after events.
- Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays.
- Restock inventory during events to ensure product availability.
- Assist customers with product selection and sizing.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Follow venue-specific protocols and security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
