About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an Assistant Property Manager at the Reserve at Eagle Ridge Apartments in Waukegan, Illinois. This is a full-time, on-site role in multifamily housing, paying $18.00–$20.00 per hour based on experience, with leasing and renewal commission potential. The position supports the Property Manager and helps create a positive community experience for residents and prospective residents. The role includes welcoming prospective residents, conducting apartment tours, leasing apartments, maintaining model and target apartments, preparing and managing lease agreements, supporting marketing efforts, creating online marketing campaigns, monitoring curb appeal, and assisting with resident relations. Applicants must complete pre-employment criminal background, soft credit, and drug screenings. Monarch Investment and Management Group has been involved in commercial real estate investment since 1992 and manages more than 80,000 apartment units in 26 states. The company also operates Monarch Ski Area near Salida, Colorado.

Requirements

Two years of experience in multifamily housing is preferred.
Strong computer proficiency and ability to navigate software systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-focused mindset and exceptional service skills.
Willingness to complete online training and professional development courses.
Must complete pre-employment criminal background, soft credit, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

Welcome prospective residents, conduct apartment tours, and lease apartments.
Maintain the appearance of model and target apartments.
Prepare and manage lease agreements and ensure signatures are completed on time.
Assist the Property Manager with marketing efforts and keep marketing materials current and effective.
Create and manage daily online marketing campaigns, including Craigslist and other platforms.
Monitor curb appeal to maintain a welcoming community atmosphere.
Support resident relations and help ensure a positive living experience.
