About The Position

The Assistant Project Manager supports experienced project managers on complex and/or multi-service projects and manages small and/or single-service projects. The role supports service leads and contributes to stakeholder relationships, team management, project planning and monitoring, project work and deliverables, change management, invoicing, and accounts receivable collection. The position is office-based in a Westwood office. It is a non-physical, office-based role with typical lifting, moving, and standing demands. No personal protective equipment is required, and little to no travel is expected. The role has no supervisory responsibility. Assigned projects and tasks come from a Project Manager or Client Manager; the position receives frequent guidance on overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters, while independently managing and prioritizing tasks and projects. Success is measured by budget compliance, including minimizing work in progress, write-offs, and aged accounts receivable; timeliness; customer and team satisfaction; and winning repeat work. Westwood describes its work as transforming the energy grid, designing resilient infrastructure, and developing communities, with safety, sustainability, and operational excellence guiding its decisions.
