About The Position

The Assistant Moving Center Manager supports the daily operations of a U-Haul center and may run the center when the General Manager is absent. The role involves allocating time and resources, assigning and managing team members, and helping ensure customers receive a strong first impression and high-quality service. Other duties may include installing hitches and brake controllers. The position also includes ongoing education through U-Haul University. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. The role is based at 4360 Covington Hwy, Decatur, Georgia. The work environment may involve moving parts, machinery, fumes, or irritant chemicals and may require protective gear. Physical demands include extended periods indoors and outdoors, traversing spaces, repositioning to use tools, and moving at least 50 pounds with or without assistance. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Leadership experience in any form.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Run the center’s daily operations in the General Manager’s absence.

Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers.
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
