About The Position

U-Haul is hiring an Assistant Moving Center Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of a center and step in for the General Manager when needed. The role involves working with a team, allocating time and resources, assigning team members, and ensuring customers receive a strong first impression and high-quality care. The position also includes miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers, as well as ongoing training through U-Haul University. The position is located at 4374 Thurman Rd, Forest Park, Georgia 30297, and is not eligible for employer sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Leadership experience in any form.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Run the center’s daily operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Make moment-to-moment decisions about allocating time and resources to appropriate projects.
Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers.
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
