About The Position

The Assistant Moving Center Manager supports the day-to-day operations of a U-Haul center and helps lead its team. The position runs daily operations when the General Manager is absent, allocates time and resources, assigns team members, and helps ensure customers receive a strong first impression and high-quality care. The role may also include installing hitches and brake controllers and participating in continuing education through U-Haul University. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. The position is located at 7300 E Adobe Dr, Scottsdale, Arizona 85255.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
Leadership experience in any form.
Customer service experience.
Ability to work a variety of shifts.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Run the center’s daily operations in the General Manager’s absence.
Make decisions about allocating time and resources to appropriate projects.
Manage and assign team members to help ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and high-quality care.
Perform miscellaneous duties, including installing hitches and brake controllers.
Participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University.
